Work Provides Security -project
StaffPoint’s Työstä turvaa (“Work Provides Security”) initiative was launched in cooperation with the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) immediately after the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis in spring 2022.
The first phase aimed to employ at least 200–400 Ukrainians and other international professionals already in Finland in partner companies. StaffPoint offered the initial collaboration phase pro bono and continues to develop the project today. By the end of 2022, the initiative had already enabled employment for over 450 Ukrainians and other international talents together with our client companies. The project was recognized with the Recruitment Act of the Year 2022 award.
Finland is currently facing an unprecedented labor shortage. At the same time, many Ukrainians arriving in Finland are seeking jobs as a vital step to rebuild their lives. The Work Provides Security project offers companies an agile way to employ war refugees and other foreign workers with valid work permits in the Finnish labor market. Through coordinated action, we help channel the willingness of Finnish businesses to help into tangible economic and social impact.
We work continuously with authorities, associations, and client organizations. Through these efforts, we have built reliable channels and partnerships.
