Major changes are taking place in working life. In Finland, more than half of the working-age population, about 1.9 million people, have a long-term illness or disability. Of these, 600,000 report that their condition affects their ability to work or find employment.

Spring House aims to promote equal employment opportunities, support workplace diversity, and reduce prejudice in society. This is why Spring House is a long-term partner of the Finnish Paralympic Committee.

The partnership between Spring House and the Finnish Paralympic Committee is built on shared values and common goals, promoting equality, inclusion, and well-being. The collaboration also increases the visibility and recognition of para sports and provides para athletes with support for training and competition.

Spring House also took an active part in the Paralympic Committee’s global WeThe15 campaign, which highlights the rights and needs of people with disabilities. The campaign reminds us that 15 percent of the world’s population, about 1.2 billion people, live with some form of limitation. Spring House CEO Minna Lindholm-Lähde considers this reminder particularly important.

“Clients in vulnerable labor market positions are especially important to us,” says Minna Lindholm-Lähde. She emphasizes that Spring House works every day to promote the employment of people with partial work ability and physical disabilities. “Every interaction and conversation between a jobseeker and an employer during our coaching sessions breaks invisible barriers and enables genuine dialogue,” she adds.

Partnerships play a crucial role in promoting equality, especially when it comes to improving accessibility in working life. Cooperation between different actors makes it possible to build more inclusive environments where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed and grow. According to Timo Mäkynen, Partnership Manager at the Finnish Paralympic Committee, the collaboration between Spring House and the Committee is an excellent example of such a partnership.

“Our cooperation with Spring House means a great deal to us. We deeply value the company’s expertise and the important work it does to promote employment for people from diverse backgrounds,” says Timo Mäkynen.

Para swimmer Jenna Rajahalme as the face of staffpoint group’s “pathmakers” campaign

Spring House is part of the StaffPoint Group and a partner of both the Finnish Paralympic Committee and the Paralympic team. StaffPoint also collaborates with the Finnish Olympic Committee and the Olympic team. From these partnerships, the Pathmakers campaign was created to highlight everyone’s right to work and pursue their dreams according to their own abilities.

The StaffPoint Group team takes great pride in its cooperation with the Finnish Olympic and Paralympic teams, and we have followed para swimmer Jenna Rajahalme’s inspiring journey toward the Paris Paralympics with enthusiasm during the Pathmakers campaign.

“It has been wonderful to see para swimmer Jenna Rajahalme as the main face of the Pathmakers campaign. In many areas, it takes pioneers — like Spring House — who have the courage to feature a para athlete as the face of their campaign. I encourage other companies to do the same,” says Timo Mäkynen from the Finnish Paralympic Committee.
