The WOW-e project promotes employment and educational opportunities for immigrant women
The WOW-e project was implemented through European cooperation, with international knowledge and experience exchange as a key element. The project was coordinated by Spring House, with partner organizations consisting of adult education and integration professionals from Germany, France, Iceland, and Portugal.
The project aimed to support immigrant women in vulnerable labor market positions in moving towards employment. A central outcome was the development of a model that considers both the needs of immigrant women and employers. Through this project, understanding was deepened regarding European-level tools for recognizing skills, as well as the challenges and best practices related to employer engagement.
With concrete actions, the project successfully brought women closer to working life and created solutions adaptable to different countries and labor market contexts.
The project was carried out between 1 February 2022 and 31 October 2024, funded by ERASMUS+ as part of the 2021–2027 program period.
