Whitewater Group is expanding its operations to support the development of a new data centre site in Finland through the establishment of a subsidiary. Now you have the opportunity to join them on their exciting mission!
About the Role
As a Health & Safety Advisor, your role will strongly focus on administrative and coordination tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining HSE documentation, monitoring compliance, reporting, and supporting the project team in implementing health, safety, and environmental standards in line with legislation, company policies, and client requirements. Your work will support the smooth delivery of a complex industrial and mission-critical site.
You will be employed by StaffPoint on a fixed-term contract until the end of August and assigned to work with our client, Whitewater Group. The work is based across sites in Högnäs, Espoo and Kirkkonummi, so the ability to easily commute to these locations is required.
Main Tasks
Maintain and manage up-to-date HSE documentation (risk assessments, COSHH assessments, method statements, permits to work)
Prepare weekly and monthly HSE performance reports for management
Assist in preparing site-specific HSE plans and documentation for audits
Report, record, and support the investigation of near-misses, accidents, and incidents
Prepare incident reports and communicate lessons learned
Monitor and track corrective and preventative actions
Support compliance by monitoring site activities against HSE standards
Coordinate and support inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Monitor subcontractor documentation
Support toolbox talks and safety briefings
Key Skills and Competencies
Strong administrative and documentation management skills (e.g. MS Office)
Good English skills (written and spoken)
Excellent attention to detail and a structured way of working
Ability to manage and maintain documentation and reports accurately
Good coordination and communication skills
Proactive and able to work independently
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in administrative, documentation, or coordination tasks (experience from HSE or construction environments is an advantage)
Good English skills
Valid EU/EEA work authorization for Finland
Desirable
Experience in HSE, construction, or industrial environments
Understanding of HSE legislation or processes
Finnish language skills
Relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH)
