Summary of the position

Information Technology (IT) is considered the administrative part of the business and where centralized services needed to support the business operations are kept. Operational Technology (OT) is considered the manufacturing part of the business providing the applications and systems that support production of Curium products.

The Technology Support role provides technical support to the PET EUR community primarily but not exclusively in Spain ensuring the support is delivered round the core needs of the business and end-users in a high quality, professionally and in timely manner

Location: Primarily on-site in Helsinki, with occasional visits to other Curium sites as agreed.

Availability: We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is already located in Finland.

Contract Type: Temporary contract via StaffPoint until end of 2025, with a possibility of extension.

Working hours: Standard full-time hours per week.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure all technological systems are fully operational and functional
  • Provide user support for incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, phone, remote access, or on-site assistance
  • Deliver or coordinate 2nd and 3rd line support with wider IT teams
  • Collaborate with central Technology teams (Networks, Infrastructure, Security) to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain production systems, providing remote or on-site support as needed
  • Engage with local suppliers and vendors for maintenance and support, ensuring SLA compliance and proper documentation
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, backups, and troubleshooting in coordination with business users, central teams, and vendors
  • Support the delivery of global IT projects within the country
  • Configure, install, and support end-user devices (computers, printers, phones)
  • Maintain accurate IT inventory records for hardware, software, applications, and licenses
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide technical support when required
  • Update critical records including configuration data, equipment lists, and CMDB entries
  • Provide support for in-house developed applications and software, where applicable
  • Administer applications and manage user profiles as needed
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide support for server and network administration tasks
  • Promote awareness and adherence to IT security policies and requirements
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with management and colleagues
  • Contribute technical input to the intake process and project delivery, including:
  • Device implementation and configuration
  • Documentation of operating procedures and application configurations
  • User training and onboarding
  • Support for validation and qualification processes
  • Assistance with application/system release to production
  • Transition support to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or as an IT specialist
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in managed IT environments
  • Experience working with matrix teams and external vendors
  • Solid understanding of network architecture, servers, switches, firewalls, and hardware/software specifications
  • Demonstrated urgency and prioritization in handling critical, high-impact issues
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and understand business needs
  • Proven track record of meeting SLAs and KPIs in IT support roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies: Windows OS, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and mobile device management
  • Advanced knowledge of end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Fluent both in Finnish and in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the country and occasionally across Europe
  • Availability to work outside standard business hours when required
