Diversity as a strength

Are you wondering how to help a diverse work community succeed or how to lead a multicultural team?

Diversity holds great potential and richness when this resource is harnessed to generate new ideas and deepen customer understanding. When well led, it improves employee well-being, problem-solving capability, and, as a result, employer branding. The starting point for development is recognizing how diversity appears in everyday situations, enabling appreciation and, gradually, the utilization of differences. By moving from stereotypes to individual encounters and from everyday conflicts to jointly agreed ground rules, a work community can function and thrive.

We coach leaders and teams on how to encounter and lead diversity, and we raise awareness of recognizing diversity in oneself and others. Through tailored solutions, we make the unfamiliar familiar and support the smooth flow of work.

For example, our “Diversity in Customer Service” coaching programs have received excellent feedback. We have delivered these programs, among others, for Kela.

Workplace language training and Workplace Finnish

Investing in employees’ Finnish language skills pays off, as it ensures service quality and improves collaboration and job satisfaction. The goal is to develop the Finnish language skills needed at work, supporting success in job tasks and within the work community.

Training programs are tailored by industry and according to participants’ starting levels. We utilize a variety of teaching methods and flexible delivery formats. Language training can also be delivered as Workplace Finnish Targeted Training. In this case, the training is agreed in cooperation between the company, Spring House, and local employment services. Let’s explore together the opportunities to apply for funding.

With the help of the training, we were able to ensure the promised bilingual service!

Immigrants hold significant potential for the world of work

Our solutions promote employment, vitality, and well-being. Spring House has delivered integration training for nearly 20 years. Each year, more than 3,000 students participate in our programs. We strengthen the language and working-life skills of people with a migrant background through professional expertise. We also apply this experience and know-how in our solutions for employers.

Together, we identify the needs of the work community and team and approach solutions in a concrete and practical way. Get in touch, and let’s discuss which solution would be the best fit for you.
