Launched in 2023, the Makers of Our Own Paths -campaign highlights personal stories of growth, direction-finding, and life choices. It reminds us that working life, too, is full of twists, pauses, and accelerations.

The partnership between Spring House and the Finnish Paralympic Committee enables equal opportunities to pursue one’s dreams.

Spring House’s goal is to promote equal employment opportunities, support workplace diversity, and reduce prejudice in society. That’s why Spring House is a long-term partner of the Finnish Paralympic Committee.

The collaboration between Spring House and the Finnish Paralympic Committee is built on strong values and shared goals, advancing equality, equity, and well-being. The partnership also increases the visibility and recognition of para sports and provides para athletes with support for their training and competitions.

StaffPoint is involved in Diak’s Opportunity for Inclusion project.

StaffPoint and Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak) have launched a collaboration as part of the "Opportunity for Inclusion" -project. The goal of the partnership is to promote equality in working life and, in particular, to improve employment opportunities for Roma people.

Although the education and employment levels of the Roma community have increased significantly, there are still barriers to employment. Prejudices, in particular, continue to hinder job opportunities, even when skills and motivation are present. According to studies, most employers who have employed Roma workers would gladly do so again (Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, 2019).

These barriers can be reduced through active efforts to promote a more equal working life, for example, by sparking public discussion and providing workplace training. An individual’s success should be defined solely by their skills, experience, and motivation. Through their collaboration, the Opportunity for Inclusion -project and StaffPoint aim to make this vision a reality.

StaffPoint is part of the HRCollective! Our CEO, Anu Ahokas, shares her thoughts on the collaboration:

“Why did we join the HR Collective? Work life is changing, and we want it to change in the right direction: towards equality, encouragement, and flexibility. Our goal is to build a working life where skills, well-being, and different life situations can coexist in the same day. And because doing things together makes everything not only easier, but also more fun.”

StaffPoint’s Minna Arneal and Pasi Honkalahti will participate in the HR Collective webinar on October 8th, discussing “How to seamlessly combine permanent employees and external workforce – insights on the new logic of recruitment.”

The pioneering security through work -project

The security through work -project, launched by the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) and the StaffPoint Group, made it possible to offer employment to people who had fled the war in Ukraine as well as to others seeking work under temporary protection status.
