Whitewater Group is expanding its operations to support the development of a new data centre site in Finland through the establishment of a subsidiary. Now you have the opportunity to join them on their exciting mission! 

On behalf of our client Whitewater Group, we are looking for an experienced Water Tank Installation Supervisor oversee the installation, integration, and quality assurance of water tanks and related infrastructure associated with the water treatment systems. This role is central to ensuring that tank installations align with project timelines, technical specifications, and safety standards. The Tank Supervisor will coordinate with internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and report to the Site Manager.

The Projects are located in area of Espoo / Kirkkonummi, Finland, so we are looking for person who can reach area easily.

Main Tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of water tanks, including base inspections.
  • Ensure alignment with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project program requirements.
  • Oversee subcontractors responsible for tank delivery, erection, and ancillary equipment installations.
  • Monitor all works related to tanks, including access systems, and integration with piping and instrumentation.
  • Enforce safety protocols.
  • Perform regular inspections and generate installation checklists, punch lists, and quality documentation.
  • Work closely with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
  • Manage onsite logistics for tanks, including cranage, lifting operations, and site storage.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid interface clashes and promote a collaborative site environment.
  • Attend the daily pre-start meetings to ensure all subcontractors have understood and signed the SPA (Safe Plan of Action). Attend / Organise other briefings such as Tool Box Talks, as directed by the Site Manager.

Qualifications

  • Trade background or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in site-based construction roles.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and schedules.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) – essential for site coordination and documentation. (Finnish is a plus)
  • Commitment to health & safety, quality standards, and construction best practices.
