Are you a precise electrical professional who wants to leave your mark on technologically advanced heavy machinery? We are now looking to strengthen the electrical installation team at our client’s Iisalmi factory. At Normet, you won’t just connect wires – you’ll build machines that enable the most demanding mining and tunneling projects around the world.
What will you be doing?
Your main task is the electrification of Normet’s mining and tunneling equipment. You will connect and measure vehicle electrical systems and work with 400–1000 V operating voltage systems. The work is varied: one day you may dive into automation and bus technology, another day you’ll support your team with mechanical installations. You should be prepared to work smoothly in two shifts.
What do we expect from you?
- Education in the electrical field.
- Previous experience in machine assembly or maintenance.
- A solution‑oriented mindset and team spirit – at Normet, success happens together.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and automation is considered an advantage.
- Basic Finnish language skills
