Job Overview:

Our client Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) to support and enhance critical monitoring, observability, and backend environments. The role focuses on hands‑on operational support, troubleshooting, platform integrations, and ensuring the reliability and continuity of key monitoring services. This is a fixed‑term (approx. 6 months) full‑time hybrid position based in Helsinki, Finland, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for L2/L3 application support, development, and enhancement of monitoring, observability, and backend systems using IBM SevOne, Zabbix, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and backend components built in Java, Go, and PHP
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ticketing/notification tools
• Work comfortably in 24×7 operations and participate in on‑call support
• Perform hands‑on L2/L3 operations, troubleshooting, and RCA
• Maintain high customer orientation and quality awareness

Qualifications and skills:

• 12+ years of experience in application support, monitoring/observability platforms, or backend systems
• Proficiency with IBM SevOne, Go (Golang), Grafana, Zabbix and PHP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A high degree of initiative and flexibility

Additional skills that are beneficial:

• Shell or Python scripting
• Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, ICMP and general network protocols
• Experience with Prometheus or ELK stack
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Basic Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
