Who We Are
Whitewater Group is a leading provider of innovative and sustainable water treatment engineering systems operating in Ireland, the UK and across Europe in the Data Centre, Pharma, Power and Industrial sectors. We specialize in designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining water treatment solutions to meet our clients' specific needs. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions that prioritize safety, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
Whitewater Group is headquartered in Naas Co. Kildare and operates from European bases in Spain, Sweden, Finland, and the UK, with plans for further offices in Germany, Denmark, and Italy. The Group is experiencing significant growth driven by its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) for delivering turnkey projects, reducing on-site construction time to a minimum.
The opportunity
As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of quality assurance and quality control activities across complex mechanical and electrical projects within critical infrastructure and data center environments.
This role will provide hands-on inspection support to ensure alignment with the OSM build programme, working closely with the Lead QA/QC Engineer to execute daily inspection activities, including ITPs, tagging processes, NCR tracking, and documentation submissions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality standards across fabrication and module stages, as well as supporting on-site inspections and handover activities when modules are delivered to client sites.
The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who can work across multiple disciplines and subcontractors, ensuring consistent quality control, compliance, and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be employed by StaffPoint on a fixed-term contract until the end of the Year (there is a possibility of continuation) and assigned to work with our client, Whitewater Group. The work is based across sites in Espoo and Kirkkonummi, so the ability to easily commute to these locations is required.

- Mechanical and electrical walkdown and inspection experience
- Experience with tagging processes in data centers or critical infrastructure
- Experience executing ITPs and raising NCRs on live projects

- Level 7/8 degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Mechanical inspections including pressure testing, pipework, and valve inspections
- Electrical inspections including cable inspections, termination checks, and loop checks
- Review and QA of mechanical and electrical testing documentation prior to client submission
- Familiarity with tagging processes and asset tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for trackers and quality registers
- Experience with SharePoint for document control and collaboration
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and well organized under pressure
- Able to work independently once direction is provided
