Procurement Professionals: Specialist, Buyer, Lead & Manager, Data Center Projects

We are preparing for the next phases of upcoming data center projects together with our clients and are building a talent pool for various project and technical procurement opportunities in Finland.

We are looking for professionals at different levels of experience. Future opportunities may include roles such as Procurement Specialist, Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Lead, Project Procurement Manager or Procurement Manager. We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in project, capital or technical procurement within construction, industrial, energy, infrastructure or other demanding project environments.

What kind of opportunities may be available?

The scope and responsibilities will depend on the project as well as your experience and expertise. Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

• planning, tendering and executing project and technical procurement activities
• preparing, coordinating and managing RFQ and RFP processes
• identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers and contractors
• carrying out commercial bid evaluations and supporting procurement decisions
• negotiating pricing, delivery terms and contractual conditions
• monitoring procurement schedules, costs, risks and deliveries
• maintaining procurement documentation and reporting
• collaborating with project management, engineering, construction, contract management, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Future opportunities may arise across Finland, with specific locations depending on upcoming client projects.

What are we looking for?

Your background may be in procurement, engineering, construction, commercial management or supply chain. Depending on the role and level of responsibility, we value:

• relevant education or equivalent practical experience
• experience in project, capital or technical procurement
• experience in tendering, RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection
• strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• experience working with contractors and suppliers
• the ability to manage multiple procurement packages, schedules and stakeholders simultaneously
• an analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• good collaboration, communication and negotiation skills
• readiness to work in an international project environment.

Previous data center experience is valuable, but it is not required for all future opportunities. Experience from large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, energy, industrial environments or other demanding capital projects can also provide an excellent foundation for working on data center projects.

We are interested in both experienced procurement professionals and professionals at an earlier stage of their careers who already have relevant experience in project or technical procurement. We will always consider suitable opportunities based on your expertise and level of experience.

As data center projects typically involve international teams and stakeholders, a good command of English is important. Finnish language skills may be an advantage in some roles, but are not required for all opportunities.
